Basic Instructions: Ink up your stamp with any pigment or embossing ink (no quick drying inks). Make sure your stamp pad is good and wet. I LOVE VersaMark!

Stamp your design.

Apply Sticky Powder like you would embossing powder. Shake off any extra powder.

To avoid blowing away some powder, heat up your heat gun away from your project.

Heat image. This does not take as long as regular embossing powder. Move on quickly as the powder melts. If you overheat the powder, it will no longer be sticky.

Apply your medium.

To set heavier mediums such as glass beads, glitters, coffee grounds, etc. lift your card and heat from the underside. Once the glue gets good and hot, set card aside to cool.

Beaded Leaves using Sticky Powder and Tiny No Hole Glass Beads

Stamp used was the solid maple stamp from Eureka Stamps. Follow basic directions above. After melting the Sticky Powder, sprinkle beads in your outline color on the card stock (NOT on the image). Tilt and turn the card allowing the beads to roll around and stick to the outside edge of the image. Pour off excess beads.

If you want to add some highlights to the main image, sprinkle a few beads with the outline color over your image. Cover the rest of the image with your main color. Pour off excess beads. You may choose to use a soft brayer to roll over the design to help set the beads. Use your heat gun to heat the underside of your card to set the beads.

Dryer Lint and Sticky Powder

Stamp used was the large peeking kitty stamp from Biblical Impressions. Follow basic directions above. After melting the Sticky Powder, press dryer lint onto image anywhere it is sticky.

The "Fuzzy Elvis" effect

Stamp used was the solid fat cat stamp from Eureka Stamps. Follow basic directions above. After melting the Sticky Powder, pour enough flocking to cover your image. With your finger, firmly press flocking into Sticky Powder. Shake off extra flocking. Use a soft brush to remove any leftover flocking.

Detailed Stamp with Gold Leaf

Stamp used was the large skeleton leaf stamp from Biblical Impressions. Follow basic directions above. After melting the Sticky Powder, press Gold Leaf onto the image.

With a semi-stiff craft brush, going against the bristles, brush off the excess gold leaf back into your container. The more detailed the stamp, the more "scrubbing" with the brush.

Finish by buffing with a soft colth.
