| Bling Bling Metal Flakes with Sticky Powder For this technique, we use sticky embossing powder and bling bling gold leaf. This same technique works great with glitters, glass beads, flocking, foils, coffee grounds, Pearl-Ex powders, spices, seeds, dusts...... This technique also works on wood, glass and tile! |

| Ink stamp with any embossable ink - clear or colored - just not white so you can see just when the powder melts. This is a great way to use up those colors of ink you don't like! The gold leaf will cover any color. Stamp your image. |

| Sprinkle Sticky Powder over the image.
We like to work in a plastic container and dip our card into the powder. Gently shake off excess powder. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||
| Run your heat gun off to the side for a couple seconds to preheat it. Heat your image until shiny. As you see the powder melt, quickly move on to the next area. This is quicker than regular embossing powder. If you overheat the Sticky Powder, it won't be sticky. This is where a colored ink pad comes in handy as it makes it easier to see when the powder first starts to melt. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Keeping your gold leaf in a plastic container makes it easier to work with.
Use your fingers or the side of the brush to press the Fashion Flakes onto the image. Going against the bristles, brush off excess gold leaf back into your container. There is virtually no waste! As you work with the gold leaf, the left over pieces will become smaller and smaller until you have a fine metallic glitter. |

With this project, we use Embossable Tape and bling bling gold leaf. This tape holds up to the heat of a heat gun - you can use it with embossing powders or to decorate lamp shades. Plus, this tape sticks to virtually anything -- including candles!! Tape is wonderful for making perfectly straight borders! Although any double sided tape will work, we prefer to work with the embossable red liner tape. Because it is thicker, it is easier to work with and make smooth, straight, wrinkle free borders. 1 - Place tape in desired location on project. 2 -Remove liner from tape to expose the sticky surface. 3, 4 - Press on gold leaf with fingers or side of brush. 5 - Going against the bristles of the brush, brush off extra flakes. 6 - Brush extra flakes back into the container. 7 - Buff with a soft cloth. |

| Bling Bling Metal Flakes with Zig 2 Way Glue Pen | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Here we use Zig 2 way glue pen and bling bling gold leaf. With this technique, you can add writing to your project. You can also color in parts of you image to add a touch of gold leaf. This works great on tile, leather and more! This also works on fingernails!!! If you are going to color in part of your stamped design, first stamp and emboss your image. Any two way glue pen will work. It needs to dry with a little bit of tackiness to it -- like the glue on the post-it notes. With a glue pen, color in the area where you want to apply gold leaf. You can also write or draw with the Zig pen. Wait a few minutes until the glue dries. If you are using a Zig pen, it goes on blue and dries clear. The glue should be tacky but not wet. If you do not wait for it to dry, you will smear it. With your fingers or the side of the brush, press flakes over the glued area. Going against the bristles, brush off excess flakes. With a soft cloth buff the flakes. If you miss an area, color it in again with glue and repeat steps above. If flakes come off when buffing, your glue probably wasn't dry enough. Start over and let project dry a little longer. If you are applying to fingernails, cover with a clear protective coat. |
