Stamps Used: Tree Pattern stamp (#1573S), Mosaic Background (1565U)
In the sample, the tree is scored and folded.

Sample 3

Supplies: Tree Pattern stamp (#1573S), Filigree Background (#1574U), clear embossing pen, gold stamp pad, black stamp pad, gold embossing powder, gold paper, dark green cardstock, gold moire cardstock, metallic green cardstock, specialty cut scissors
Instructions:Stamp tree pattern on the back of the gold paper. Cut out on heavy black lines, both outside lines and lines between each section. If desired, score and fold on light lines. In this sample, we did not score. With the embossing pen, wet the bottom edge of the tree pieces. Emboss with gold embossing powder. Do score on the darker lines closest to the side edges on each piece. Fold under to make a tab to glue your tree to your project. Whether or not you scored and folded, curl each tree section so that it is rounded out on the right side.

Stamp the Filigree Background stamp (#1574U) on the metallic green cardstock using a gold stamp pad. Trim with the specialty scissors. Emboss the edges of the metallic green cardstock. Cut the gold moire cardstock to 4" x 5". Cut the green cardstock to 9.5" x 6.5". Fold in half. Attach the gold moire, then the metallic green. Put whatever adhesive you desire on both tabs on each section of the tree. Starting with the bottom section, attach each section to the top of the card, pushing in toward the center slightly to create a rounded tree. Overlap each section slightly.

Hint: You can use clear silicone caulking under each section of the tree to keep it from flattening in the mail.
