Circles Challenge

Card 1 - ladybug

Card 3 - faux batik

Randomly & close together, stamp stripe circle stamp with Versamark, emboss with clear embossing powder onto 3” square colored patterned paper. Cover with ink matching the darkest color of the patterned paper. Iron paper to remove embossing. Attach to 3.25” square panel. Emboss text with silver onto white vellum, mount to square. Take matching piece of patterned paper, 3” x 5”, mount to 3.25 x 5.25 panel. Place sliver eyelets on long ends, tie silver cording, attatch to white panel on the left side, then mount the square on the middle left.


Card 4 - faux batik

Attach 5 x 3.75 piece of patterned paper to card. Randomly & close together, stamp stripe circle stamp with Versamark, emboss with clear embossing powder onto one of 2, 2.75” square pieces of colored patterned paper. Cover with ink matching the darkest color of the patterned paper. Iron paper to remove embossing. Cut two coordinating 3” square pieces of patterned paper. Emboss sentiment on 2.75” square piece of vellum. Attach vellum to embossed square, attach to matching piece of patterned paper at an angle, repeat with the other two pieces of square paper. Place brads at the side corners of papers. Attach to paneled card.

Card 5 - butterfly circles

Stamp circles in purple, pink, green, and blue onto 3.5” square white panel. Stamp butterflies randomly over panel. Attach to 3.75” square purple panel, then onto white card. Stamp text onto white panel, attaché to purple mulberry paper. Attach to card with silver brads.

Card 6 - dragonflies

Stamp solid circles with dark olive randomly over flax laid cardstock. With medium olive, stamp “squiggly” circles randomly over panel. Emboss dragonflies mostly over full or nearly full circles with gold embossing powder. Wait a few minutes, then sponge medium or light olive all over cardstock, applying pressure over dragonflies to make sure there is no flax showing through. Play with the sponged colors and the squiggly circles until you achieve the effect you want. Mount onto dark olive panel, then onto flax card.

Card 7 - copper circles

Stamp “squiggley circles around edge of blue glossy cardstock, emboss with copper. Emboss scripture onto blue vellum, emboss with copper. Attach to glossy panel with copoper brads, mount onto dk. Bronze card.


Card 8 - birthday kitty

Trim white cardstock with patterned scissors. Stamp three circles in light pink. Stamp one of each small kitty in the center of each circle with Versamark ink, emboss with silver. Allow to “set” so you do not smudge the embossed images. Stamp the “squiggly” circle over each kitty with dark pink, repeat with lines going perpendicular to the original images. Stamp tiny paw prints over the rest of the card in light pink. Stamp text in dark pink on white, mount onto light pink panel, attach to white panel and onto pink card.
