Dimensional accents with Rub on Foils
and Tiny No Hole Glass Beads

***Warning*** Rub on foils are EXTREMELY addictive!***
Fast, easy, and shiny! No other technique can compare.
Use with Sticky Powder, glue pen, double stick tape, Stamp and Stick glue pad, or any dry adhesive. Rub on foils give a bright, shiny, metallic finish to your project.

These samples were done by our youngest son at the Milwaukee stamp convention.
(Our most sincere apologies to the other vendors who fell victim to his
April Fool shenanigans!)

We have enlarged the pictures so you can see the detail.

Punch a 1" flower from cardstock. Place a piece of double stick red liner tape on the back side of the cardstock -- just enough to cover the punched image. On the top side, place a piece of rub on foil and rub with your finger. Peel off foil. A small line of tape around the outer edge of the design will remain. Sprinkle on glass beads. Gently shake off excess beads.

This sample is done with Primary Rainbow rub on foil (the section that ranges from pink to purple to blue) and Purple Metallic glass beads. The scan doesn't do this piece justice!! The beads are a beautiful match to the vibrant colors in the foil.

This sample is done with Primary Rainbow rub on foil (choosing the section that ranges from yellow to green) and Gold glass beads. This spectacular, shiny sample doesn't scan well!

This sample is done only with Purple Metallic glass beads.



To fill in the entire design with rub on foils, use a dry embossing tool around the edges.

You can also fill in the design with gold leaf, flocking, colored sand, glitter, diamond dust, coffee grounds, cinnamon, ......
