| INSTRUCTIONS: Cut 2 pieces of gold-flecked cardstock 4 3/4" x 5 1/2" Cut 2 pieces of glossy black cardstock 5" x 5 3/4" Cut 2 pieces of gold cardstock 5 1/4" x 6" Fold a sheet of midnight blue cardstock in half lengthwise and cut to a finished size of 5 1/2" x 7" On one of the pieces of gold-flecked cardstock, stamp the star border and emboss with detail clear embossing powder. Cover single king sillouette stamp with midnight blue stamp ink, stamp once on a piece of scratch paper, then stamp as shown on the cardstock. This will give you a "shadow" effect and not be too dark. Dry completely, either by waiting for it to dry, or drying with a heat gun. Stamp Matthew 2:1-2 on top of the sillouette, having the "A" go on top of the star border as shown. Emboss with detail clear embossing powder. Color the border as shown with markers, blending with a brush slightly moist with water. Using whatever form of adhesive you desire, attach the stamped cardstock on top of the black cardstock, on top of the gold cardstock, and finally, onto the card itself. On the inside of the card, use the same technique with the three king sillouette stamp, stamping it first on scratch paper, then in position on cardstock. Make sure it is dry, then stamp the saying on the top and emboss with detail clear embossing powder. Mount on cardstocks, or if you do not want to have your card this heavy, leave off the black and gold cardstock on the inside of the card. |
